Erm
Um olhar ao desastre humano

Erm is a project created by dancer and artist Teresa Santos, reflecting on destruction and the human capacity to rebuild. Inspired by elements such as the documentary The Salt of the Earth by Wim Wenders and Juliano Ribeiro, and the paintings of Ferdinand Hodler, Teresa explores barren spaces and places where life spontaneously reemerges, connecting the landscape with movement and expression.

In this project, I collaborated as an external eye, supporting the development of the proposal and recording the music performed by Jorinda Millà. I also adapted the piece into a lighter version to be operated independently, structuring and modulating the sound with Ableton to meet the specific needs of the project.

Erm allowed me to delve into the intersection of music, landscape, and emptiness, contributing a sonic perspective that accompanies the emotions and transformative ideas at the heart of Teresa Santos’ work.
